Last weekend, we had a few guests come through the KCRW studios...
Check out a conversation and guest DJ set with Gary Calamar and Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields). Stephin talked about his move from Brooklyn to Los Angeles (he says his dog, Irving Berlin, loves it here as he can pee on the grass instead of concrete) and brought a wide variety of obscure international 60's nuggets to play for us. The highlight for Gary was "I Enjoy Being A Girl" by The Banana Splits.
Also, the legendary Roy Ayers joined Raul Campos to play brand new music from his forthcoming album and talk about his past, present and future.
