I was lucky enough to be a part of it years ago, working with Polly Parsons (daughter of Gram) who brought a bunch of bands together for a tribute concert to her dad. Speaking of Kala, her extremely proud brother (Fred Savage, recognize the name?) had a smile so wide it filled the room – apparently recognition for this Glendale group is long overdue and he was really happy to witness it.
