V.V. Brown Makes her U.S. Radio Debut

I’ve been looking forward to this performance for weeks because there is a liveliness in her recordings that really caught my ear. Therefore, I wasn’t surprised this morning to see an effervescent VV Brown soundchecking like her life depended on it. I get the feeling she doesn’t hold back on anything she does – a determination and feistiness that fuels her music as well as a clothing line and other projects. Multitalented is an understatement.  The track Jason’s been spinning the most is “Crying Blood” – which her bio describes as a having a “primal punch and futuristic speed freak energy.”  The British singer also played an unreleased track called “Caroline.” Keep an eye out for her upcoming album and check out this set.
