Monday, October 19, Academy Award winners Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard follow up on the success of their film “Once” with a new work from their project The Swell Season.  They'll join guest host Chris Douridas in live performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, October 21, Denmark's Choir of Young Believers is an orchestral pop-project marked by cathedral-grade reverb. You’ll become a believer yourself after hearing their live performance at 11:15am on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

Friday, October 23, Alex Patsavas is the music supervisor behind a variety of hit television shows including "The O.C" and "Grey's Anatomy." She's lent her golden touch to the soundtrack of the highly anticipated vampire sequel "Twilight: New Moon."  We'll hear anecdotes and insights as to what goes on behind the scenes on Morning Becomes Eclectic in the 10 o'clock hour.

Friday, October 23, Jay Farrar of Son Volt and Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie seem like an unlikely pairing, but their shared appreciation for Beat writer Jack Keroauc lead them to write songs with lyrics taken from the 1962 novel, Big Sur. They’ll share their music live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, October 26, Afro-pop outfit The Very Best have found global success with their jubilant sounds and have been featured on just about every deejay’s playlist at KCRW. We'll be treated to a live performance when they join Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, October 30, KCRW started playing South London crooner Florence & The Machine well before the release of her critically lauded full length album “Lungs.” Our DJs were charmed by her pop sensibilities and lyrical fearlessness, which made for some fantastic break up anthems.
