Tori Amos on MBE

I must confess, I worshiped Tori Amos at one point in my life. In fact, I don’t think I could have gotten through high school and the turmoil of teenage life without her. I haven’t kept up with her newer work until this most recent album, which I think includes some of the best songs she’s ever created. Fans of Bjork and other more experimental female artists will see a whole new side of Tori and her music. And her interview with Jason reveals some interesting things about her process and her family life in England. I was thrilled to hear her mix old songs – “Putting the Damage On” and “Silent All These Years” – in with newer tracks. Her hardcore fans and new believers will love this set equally.
