Nic Harcourt Steps Down as Music Director

Comments

best of luck, nic.

Good riddance Nic Harcourt.

Good riddance Nic Harcourt. Time to bring back Chris Douridas. In a city as musically important as Los Angeles, Nic's "innovative" programming barely covered diverse musics throughout Southern California. His jaunts to Austin, New York, Paris, and beyond are way out of line with public radio spending priorities and responsibilities. KCRW is a great station. Los Angeles deserves nothing less. I guess Nic crossed the threshold, but I, for one, won't miss him.

Maggie you are a sad human being. Nic has been unparalleled in the breadth and diversity of his playlists. He has time after time been on the forefront of emerging music trends and artists, and is universally respected by musicians and music lovers here Los Angeles and abroad. I am going to miss him very much. With such a distatseful remark you have left here, I can only imagine how awful your music preferences must be. Bugger off.

I'm a Nic fan from NY and listened when he was here and am starved for new music except for the occasional chance to listen online on the weekends.

Best of luck Nic. The quality and diversity of the music you played daily will be missed! My credit cards will be happier, but I will not! My wall of music is much richer because I started listening to your program first and then branched out. Thank you.

Thanks so much for all the great music for so many years.
I wouldn't have heard you if not for the OUTSTANDING folks at WFPK radio Louisville.
