Keane Returns to MBE

Keane played a new batch of songs on MBE this morning – stellar pop worthy of shaking and grooving. For those who think they are only capable of piano ballads, this will make them think again. The great hooks and epic choruses are still there, it just sounds like they are having more fun.

The UK hitmakers brought on a few new producers this time around (and a new bass player) that they said “revolutionized” their recording process -- LA’s Jon Brion and Stuart Price. “You Haven’t Told Me Anything” and “Spiralling” were my favorites. Both are on the new album “Perfect Symmetry.”
